Dear Reader,
Here's my review for the Iron Fey Book 1 by Julie Kagawa:
" The Iron King
is a beautifully constructed, written, and edited read, leaving the reader scrambling for a sequel. In this book the reader will explore the Nevernever like they've never seen, meet lovable, vibrant charactars, and fall rapidly into love with a hearwarming/heart-breaking romance. [Kagawa] manages to make such a great book look effortlessly written, despite the nail-biting thrills and twists. Taking into consideration the love and depth of the plot, this is no small feat. You'll meet charactars like Puck (Robin Goodfellow, i.e. Shakespeare's A Mid-Summer's Night Dream), Ash the Winter Prince, Grimalkin the snarky Cat Sith, and Meghan Chase...our extrodinary main charactar from who's point-of-view the book is told. Ms. Kagawa's writing is as lovely and interesting as a the planet itself, but prehaps her greastest ability is the ability is the ability to create charactars the readers feel as though they know in person. I was devastated to leave the charactars behind, but found myself enjoying the act of saying: Wow, Puck would totally love that
! This book is trully one of a kind, I doubt I'll ever see another as great as this. Ms Kagawa is the queen of this genre!
THIS BOOK GETS: ***** 5 stars!!
